Is it really as easy as picking up the phone to have a credit check performed?
Providing the correct detail is given to the agent responding to your call, yes it really is as easy as picking up the phone and dialing the number.

How do I use the facility?
Simply call our agents who will take some details from yourself to set you up on a database and we will provide you with your unique reference. Simply quote this reference each time you call and our agents will directly access your records. Then give the information for the required credit ratings check and the agent will deal with your request.

What details do you need to run the credit check?
This will depend on which sort of credit check you require. It may be a tenant credit check, in which case the information needed will be a full name and last known address. Of course, the more information you can provide (for example a date of birth,) the quicker the agent can deal with the request.
You may also require company credit checks or business credit checks on a sole trader. In this instance, you will be required to provide the business name and address. In the case of a Limited Company, should you only have a trading unit address; our agent will be able to find the registered office detail on your behalf, utilizing our advanced address finder utilities.

Can you tell me if there is any adverse information?
Should there be any adverse information posted, such as a CCJ, our agent can make you aware at the time of the call.

Can you do more than 1 credit check per phone call?
If the correct information is provided, we can certainly run more than one instant credit check per phone call. We can within the one call run a tenant credit check, a business credit check and a ltd. company credit check so you can mix and match to suit your needs. Once you have registered with Creditsure Ltd the service is in place to give you what you want, when you want.

What if I do not have a postcode?
If you make the agent aware at the time of the call that you do not have a full post code, our agent can, on your behalf, perform address searches to find the detail that you need using our people searches free of charge, with you only paying the cost of a telephone call to get your results. The agent will require the full postal address to be able to find the post code.

Do I have to have a first name or initial?
YES. Without the first name or initial we cannot perform a credit check.

Can you tell me if a company is limited or not?
If you are unsure about a company status, our agents will be to clarify the detail and then carry out the correct company credit references check on your behalf.

Do I need a Directors name or company registration number?
A company registration number is he quickest way to get company credit references, although it is not a necessity. If a Directors name has been provided to you hen we can ensure that you have been given the correct detail and confirm that the name is correct.

If a person I want credit checking has been a Sole Trader who has since ceased trading and then started up again under a different name, am I best to check the previous detail for purposes?
We would always recommend having a credit ratings check performed against any previous details. This is to establish if a previous trading as name has any adverse information listed against it, i.e. CCJ’s. Our agent can run a previous detail credit check and a current detail credit check simultaneously, while you are on the line.

How do you decide a person/company is credit worthy?
Our specialized credit checking team run several processes to evaluate the credit worthiness for the person or business you are credit checking. With the many years of experience that our agents provide, together with the most up-to-date credit checking services available, we can provide you with an excellent and accurate credit check service.

How quickly can a decision be made?
Once your call has been answered and all relevant information provided, our agent will be able to provide you with a decision almost instantaneously.

What further costs will I have to pay for the information requested?
The credit service provided will incur no further costs than the cost of the phone call. Creditsure Ltd have, over the years, decided that there should be no annual fee or large invoice when a company or individual decide to safeguard themselves against bad debt. The luxury of being able to perform a credit check or get a credit reference should be available to everyone and not just a large company perk.

Do you provide a report for our records? If so how?
A credit history report will be forwarded to you once your call is complete. This can be sent to you in the way that suits you best. Fax, E-Mail (.pdf) or by post are the options available and you should alert the agent during the cal as to the best way to forward your credit history report to you.
